APOIAR turns 30 and launches the video “APOIAR Generations”

In March 2025, APOIAR celebrated 30 years of mission in Africa. To mark this milestone, we are launching the video “APOIAR Generations”, a portrait of our work in Mozambique, told in the first person by a child who grows up in APOIAR’s projects.
Through Itor’s story, we follow a life journey that could resemble so many others, marked by extreme poverty — but that, thanks to APOIAR’s support, became a true story of resilience and transformation.
Beginning with his mother’s prenatal care through the MAYI project, receiving the BabyBox, learning and nourishment at our Pre-schools and KUKULA kitchens, engaging in youth activities through APOIAR Champions, connecting with the world via the Digital Exchange, and gaining skills through the IT Training Centre — the video shows how consistent support over the years can change the future of a child, a family, and an entire community.
This is more than a video. It is a reflection of our commitment to the future. A living testament that “supporting today means changing lives forever.”
