APOIAR was founded in 1995 as a non profitable humanitarian association. It's main objective is to cooperate in the development of Portuguese speaking African countries, through education and learning skills. We believe that through education and access to information the "poverty cycle" will be broken.

This initiative was born from the awareness of people in need of change and it has been made possible by putting together the necessary good will to make it happen.
